Eye Candy Scarf

My 6 year old daughter likes the fact that her Mummy can make things! She really likes it when she can come up with an idea and then asks Mummy (very nicely and politely)
if she could make it for her.
Sophie's idea, colour scheme and design, me? well I just went along for the ride.
Really enjoyed making something really girlie for my little girlie. She is sat watching a Disney DVD wearing this scarf. More info here.

Spiderman Afghan

I just finished this Spiderman Round Ripple, it is a Christmas gift. I am so glad to be through with it, not because it is hard but because I am so tired of blue and red!! It really is a very easy ripple to make and I have made 2 others but not this same color. I have more to do for Christmas gifts so I will start on them tomorrow.

Baby Blanket

I finished this Tiramisu Baby Blanket last night. I thought it was for a great-nephew, but now I'm told that it's a girl. She won't be born until sometime in early December. Maybe I'll have time to do a more girlie one? Maybe not. I think this one would be okay for a girl, don't you?

You can find the free pattern HERE.

First post & first scarf.

I tried to take a good picture of it but it was difficult to do my camera sucks.

But I'm happy with it. It looks better on. I started a second one already and it looks much better than this one so far. I guess the second time around always makes best.

I made this a while back. & found a picture of it. I have plans to make lots more of these little things for my craft room which is a work in progress. But I thought I would share, I thought it was cute. I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Warm Fuzzies

This is a copied article from one of my
Heart-Healthy Living magazines
that I thought might be of interest to you.
~~~~~
"Whether you knit, crochet or weave, you could contribute to the HeartScarves project, which provides handmade red scarves to women with heart disease as a symbol of care and support.  The program has been offered through WomenHeart, the National Coalition for Women with Heart Disease, since 2007.  Thousands of scarves have already been distributed to women in hospitals and rehabilitation centers after a cardiovascular procedure or event.  Each scarf includes a special WomenHeart label and is often accompanied by a small bag of heart-health information and resources.  Visit womenheart.org to get involved."
Little flowers on my neck
Autumn in the South of Italy is like Spring. You can see green fields full of little coloured flowers. I'm making this necklace for a friend of mine as a gift, it's really the first work of this kind I do. I like it because it brings joy and happiness, perfect for the next winter days when we will need a little sunshine :)
Pretty in Pink Crochet Rag Rug
Hi Everyone,
I have finished my 'Pretty in Pink' crochet rag rug this week. I love making and crocheting rag rugs but absolutely hate the cutting up of fabric. I do hope you like it :-)
Have a great day.
